YOU CAN’T JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER

Though true, that’s exactly what we do. It’s kind of the point of the cover, to grab the reader’s attention, to get them to read the title, to get them to read the description, to get them interested enough to want to read the whole book.

The box set HEARTBEATS IN TIME that I’m in got a make-over. I love the new cover.

NEW COVER
OLD COVER
What do you think? Which cover do you like best?

I think I like the new one better. Having a person on it helps me connect to the characters within.

I love that, in this new technology age, a new cover can be designed, changed on a book, and uploaded all in the course of a day. BAM! New cover. I love them both. I find it interesting that a different cover can increase sales. Both are beautiful covers. Why would one sell more than another? It’s personal preference what draws each individual to a cover image and what doesn’t. I think color has a lot to do with it too. I know there are certain colors I’m drawn to and others that repel me. So what makes one beautiful cover image draw more readers than another beautiful image?

Here is a list of stories and description in the HEARTBEATS IN TIME box set. In this collection, you get five historical books, four of which are novels and the fifth is four novellas. That’s EIGHT stories! My publisher is making this set available for a limited time only. Kindle Unlimited subscribers can read all these great stories for FREE!
