A handsome one at that who isn’t thrilled to see a young woman with stars in her eyes and no idea of what life in the backwoods of the Ozark mountains is like.

Luke Canfield had every intention of picking up the new school teacher, but a broken axle changed his plans. When a pretty city girl trips over him and starts spouting nonsense, he fears she’s not up for the job of an Ozark mountain teacher.
