Tuesday Tidbits: BOTHELL MUSEUM part 3

Bothell Museum Part 3: The HANNAN HOUSE

The Living Room & Parlor

Since I have so many pictures, I decided to split the downstairs into two parts (the living room & parlor, and save the kitchen & dining room for another post), then I'll show the upstairs bedrooms and bathroom.

This is the William Hannan Home built in 1893.
WILLIAM HANNAN HOME
1893
This Pioneer Residence was built in 1893 by
Wm. Hannan for his bride Mimi Campbell, daughter of
Robt. and MaryAnn Bothell Campbell. Mr. Hannan who came to
Bothell in 1889, was founder of W.A. Hannan Mercantile
on Bothell's main St. & was Postmaster from 1894-1898
& active in Political & Civic affairs. Each room has been
decorated & restored as close to the
original state as possible.

A knitting basket with what looks like
carding tools as well.

I believe these are the Bothells the town is named after.
I love seeing these old photographs of people.
This might be the Hannans.

This is a beautiful piece with the scroll-wood design.

This corner looks cozy with the chair and lamp lit.
I might just curl up there and read a book.

Pump Organ
These are two different information cards for this pump organ.
I think they show that this organ changed hands a time or two.

I hope you enjoyed these pictures from Bothell's past.
